How to use GDB to debug from CLi instead of doing it from CCS eclipse IDE?

Pradeep,

Which GDB are you using? If you are just looking for general information on how GDB works there are lots of tutorials on how to use GDB available that can be found via search. If this is specific to something provided by TI please let us know what it is you are using.

Hi John,

My target is Hercules board with Cortex-R4. So far, i could manage use built in binaries to build and flash from CLI.

Now as a next step, I would like to use GDB to debug the target from CLI. I dont want to use CCS-eclipse-IDE to debug.

Any help is highly appreciated.
