Uniflash v3 install problem

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH, CCSTUDIO

I'm trying to install Uniflash v3 on Windows 7.  When I run the uniflash setup I keep getting errors about 30 seconds after it starts.  In the logs it says "com.ti.ccstudio.p2app could not be found in the registry".  Is there a way to fix this issue?

  • Hi Quincey,

Is there a way to fix this issue?

First of all deactivate your anti-virus and firewall. Then run the setup by using the option "Run as Administrator". If still you get the above error, the setup file seem to have been corrupted. Try downloading the setup again, also try using some other downloader or browser.

  • Hi Quincey,

Please delete the contents of the install directory before you try to re-install. It looks like you have an incomplete installation.

If this is not the case, please post install logs. Depending on the version of uniflash, you can find them in <installdir>/install_logs* or c:\program files\installjammer registry\uniflashv3 (program files (x86) if you're on a 64 bit computer). Note, the installjammer registry folder is a hidden folder.

  • Thanks guys. I have now installed it successfully. I had disabled the firewall but I wasn't running the setup as an administrator. Also, I think my biggest problem was not removing the install directory before trying the install again.
