CCS 5.5 Graph Problem

I frequently use the CCS graphing tool, as it is very useful, but it seems to have a few annoying quirks.  For example, after setting up several graphs and using them to monitor data, I shut down CCS while still in the "CCS Debug" perspective.  When I re-started CCS and went to the CCS Debug perspective, the graph boxes were still displayed in the same locations as before, but they were darker gray and contained no data or graph information and they could not be changed.  I could not get them to be restored with the data that they had originally been programmed with.  I then closed those graphs, transisitoned back to the "CCS Edit" perspective, and then returned to the Debug perspective, where again the empty graph boxes appeared again.

How can I get the graphs to be completely restored (not just empty, un-editable boxes) after re-starting CCS?  ALso, how can I make the evidence of older graphs disappear permanantly?

Thanks,

Chuck

  • Chuck,

In earlier versions we attempted to recover the graphs CCS is restart, the debug session is launched and program loaded. We abandon this approach due to technical limitations in eclipse. I believe this change should have been in CCS5.5. Can you try using a new workspace and see if the problem goes away.

Note that you can export/import graph properties in the Graph Properties view.
