CCS 6 issue to resume when in debug mode

Hi,

I am doing the hello world program with CCS6 qnd Lqunchpqd MSP430 F5529.

It builds fine, debug works, I can even go through the code step by step but I cannot click the resume button...

I have tried :

to restart CCS

to restart computer

to follow a post on CCS5 similar issue that suggested to do the following procedure:

None of the above works

Hi,

Did you try switching to CCS Debug mode?

Yes I tried but it didn't work neither.

There is a known bug when using the CCS Simple perspective that results in this behavior. Please see this post for details of when the bug occurs and how you can recover your debug buttons. Although that post makes reference to Energia projects, the symptoms could occur when debugging any project as long as you use the CCS Simple perspective. Just replace all references to Energia in that post with your own project.

The bug will be fixed in the next CCS update 6.1.1.
