CCS Not opening any files

A strange error. And it was not happening yesterday when I was working on a CCS project and it closed without any problems.

My project and workspace are open but when I double click main.c or .cfg (or any files), it does not open them in Edit or Debug or Simple mode.

Right click-> Open. Does not work.

Restart CCS and my PC. Does not work.

I know it is not a problem with my computer as everything else is working fine. Any chance I disabled something accidently?

I have Reset Edit and Debug mode so turns out a block is stuck there that I cant right click or find out about.

Sherry,

It appears that this issue is with your CCS (installation) and not specific to TI-RTOS. So I went ahead and moved this over to the CCS forum in hopes that you will get a faster response there.

Have you tried starting up a new workspace, importing your project into it and then opening the source files? A new workspace resolved a similar issue in this thread.

I found the solution. Dont know exactly how to explain it. The full screen view was anchor (locked) for a window that I was not using. May be it was Registers/ memory allocations etc. And so if i wanted to open and view my code main.c or app.cfg, there was no room for it to display.

I solved it by restoring CCS edit and CCS debug view.
