Hello I am having an XDS100v2 emulator intermittent issue on my desktop computer. The issue doesn't seem to happen on my laptop.
A test return the information given below. I ran xds100serial from the command line (i.e. C:\ti\ccsv6.1\ccsv6\ccs_base\common\uscif>xds100serial). It returned the results shown below.
What could be causing the issue?
Stephen
UPDATE2:
After conecting to the target, the xds100serial application indicates there are no XDS100 emulators on the system even though it seems like the target is connected, i.e. I can run and stop and then run the target.

UPDATE1:
Restarting code composer fix the problem until it happens again a short time later. I seem to remember there was an emulator update not too long ago. Could that be causing the issue.
After restarting Code composer:

This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.
The value is '-151' (0xffffff69).
The title is 'SC_ERR_FTDI_OPEN'.
The explanation is:
One of the FTDI driver functions used during
the connect returned bad status or an error.
The cause may be one or more of: invalid XDS100 serial number,
blank XDS100 EEPROM, missing FTDI drivers, faulty USB cable.
Use the xds100serial command-line utility in the 'common/uscif'
folder to verify the XDS100 can be located.
