CCS version via TMS320C5402 and xds200 JTAG

I try to understand which version of CCS I need for working with TMS320c5402 DSP and xds200 JTAG and project was written in ccs 3.3.

I first try ccs v. 4.1.3.00038 and I succed build the project but the xds200 is not supported in this version ( can I work it out with drivers?)

the I try CCS v. 5.3 which support xds200 but I couldnt build my project  and it seems its only support C6xx family.

Please advise what should I do to make it work.
