CCS v6.1 Update failure

Installed CCS v6.1.00104 fresh on a Windows 8.1 64-bit platform (with no prior CCS version installed).


Ran "Help - Check for Updates". Got the following screen of modules to update:

When I allow the update to continue, I get the following error:

Here are my "Available Software Sites" settings:

Can anyone help fix this? I have searched the net and nothing I found seems to work...

    Could you please try the following:
    Go to Help-> Install New Software
    Select the TI Emulation update site from the drop down list.
    Unselect the checkbox (right at the bottom of the screen) "Contact all update sites..."
    Continue with the update.
    If this works, shut down CCS altogether, restart it, and try the rest of your updates. This should reset the eclipse metadata which seems to have gotten corrupted.
