CCS and SmartRF06 connection

Yes, there is no EM connected to it and also no target board (microcontroller).

Then I would expect to see some kind of error that you described in your first post.

Ok, thank-you,,,,,once I get the target board back I'll see if I can make a connection then.

I have tried making the connection with the target board but it doens't connect.

I'm at my wits end at this point.

 

"This error is generated by TI's USCIF driver or utilities.

The value is '-230' (0xffffff1a). The title is 'SC_ERR_PATH_MEASURE'.

The explanation is: The measured lengths of the JTAG IR and DR scan-paths are invalid. This indicates that an error exists in the link-delay or scan-path."

Any body have any ideas?

Which EM are you attaching to the RF06 EB?

Hello, I don't have any EM connected to the SmartRF06 board.

I am using cJTag to connect from the SmartRF board to the target board.

Have you tried running it with the jtag_tdo and jtag_tdi pins connected??

Yes, but it still doesn't work. The CC2538 has a cJTAG default.
That is how I have it hooked up now, cJTAG shown below.

SmartRF06 CC2538 on our protoboard
Pin 1 3.3 Pin 1 3.3
Pin 4 Gnd Pin 3 Gnd
Pin 7 TMS Pin 2 TMS
Pin 9 TCK Pin 4 TCK

I checked all the pins with the Oscope.
And I am getting the 3.3 volts on Pin 1 and the Gnd is good.
TMS is showing data transfer on Pin 7 and TCK Pin 9 also shows Data transfer.

I'm clueless at this point?
