unable to download shared_device_support_1.0.9.zip

I am having difficulty in updating CCS.

I get the error message "unable to download shared_device_support_1.0.9.zip" - had the same issue with 1.0.8 but the help in the forum had a link for manual download and update to 1.0.8. I can retry the updates but these keep on failing at the same point. I even tried deleting "browsing history" in the hope that it may be a cached file that is corrupt.

OS: WIN 7 x64,

CCS, version 6.1.1.00022

OK, it is nice between you guys but what are other CCS users supposed to do? I suspect there more than one out there...

I have exactly the same problem that persists for already a week.

Bugs are supposed to be fixed guys. Sending files left and right is not a solution. You have a COMMERCIAL product that you SELL and that product does not work properly for who knows how long. People rely on it to do their job and earn for living but they can NOT do it because the product is buggy and nobody cares to fix it...

Sorry for a rant but this is simply ridiculous. Is there anybody who is responsible for this thing? When it is going to be fixed and how can I get my tool back so I could get back to work?

A TI support Engineer helped me resolve the issue - Sent me a link to a download that fixed the problem. There is however a newer version of the tool available for download that does not seem to come through with the update path. In the end I uninstalled the tool, downloaded the newer version and installed.

Finally I switched to CCS v6.3, and do not have the problem any more.
