Can't import energy sketch in ccs v6 in mac 10.10.5. Can anyone help?

Hi,

Im very new to use CCS and Energia both. I am using CCS v6 and energia-0101E0016. I have OS-X 10.10.5. I'm new in using mac as well.

Problem:

I can find Energia Sketch Import option under Project -->

The I get the searching window to add the path of energy -->

Then I Browse and add the Application folder where the executable is (I think, if I am not wrong, cause using mac for the first time as well) -->

But then it says that " The selected directory does not resemble an Energia install. Please select the directory containing the 'energia' executable", and I cannot go Next -->

So thats the problem. Can anyone help me please?

This is a known issue in the current CCS for MacOS. Please see this thread.

It should be fixed in the next release update. In the meantime, I am checking if there is a workaround you can use, and will let you know if there is one.

As mentioned in the other thread, you can work around it by manually entering the full path, for example, /Applications/Energia.app/Contents/Resources/Java
assuming Energia is installed directly in /Applications. Before doing that though, you need to create an empty file named "energia" in that /Java sub-directory. Then the path should be recognized and you should be able to import example sketches.
