Code Composer support for this JTAG emulator

Hi all,

Recently I found this JTAG emulator called XDS100V2 USB2.0 DSP which seems to support TI DSP / ARM core CCS4 CCS5 64bit.

Do you know what is the difference between that JTAG emulator and the one below? the price is a difference since the former is US$23 and the later US$83.

My intention is to use the JTAG emulator on Code Composer Studio v6 to program a beagle bone black.

Thanks for updating the post with images. I recognize the emulator in the second image - that is an XDS100v2 from Spectrum Digital. I can vouch for those since I have a few of them myself and they work well.

I'm not familiar with the emulator shown in the first image. Where did you get that image from?

I found it in several pages, and the following is one of them:

There is the description in which it is mentioned, it is XDS100 based. However, the price for this is very less than the Spectrum Digital one. And I wonder about the differences, I guess it would use the same free license on Code composer S, wouldn't it ?

yes it looks like a generic 3rd party XDS100 emulator (it is not made by TI as far as I can tell). I know nothing of the seller so I can't comment anymore.

But yes, all XDS100 based emulators can use the free license.
