CCS6.1.1.00022_win32 failing to install - why??

Window 10 Home (Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.10586]) Version 1511, 64-bit OS

CCS6.1.1.00022_win32 fails to install.  McAfee Live - Internet Security: Firewall and antivirus were disabled disabled.

I used the Off-line Installers for the log submitted below.  I have tried the web installer file with no success also.

There is not indication of why the installation process stops.

    After my initial post where nothing appeared to be happening, I discovered that the installation supposedly completed.
    Why did it take almost 6 hours to install and what's the explanation for 5
    hours and 50 minutes of nothing happening in the log?

    The attached log file is ccs_setup_6.1.1.00022_install.log.

    Notice the big 5 hour 50 minute gap where nothing was logged or appeared to be happening.  Do you still need the other logs?

    At this point, I need to verify if the "successful installation" really works.

    That's really strange as there are no popups or anything at that point. All I can think of is that it was trying to download a file and the connection didn't time out, but kept waiting for a response. I looked through the logs and your installation seems to have gone fine.

    Why would it be trying to download anything if I'm using the full installation file and I never got to the point of requesting updates?

    There are additional components that are only available on the web. The installer will give you the option of installing those at install time if it has web access.

    The computer was connected to the internet during the entire 6+ hours even before I started the installation and was never disconnected from the internet.

    There was never any prompt to install anything optional until that 6 hours elapsed and I manually started CCS after the initial installation corresponding to the end of log I posted - then I got prompted, so please don't mix those two.

    Do you see any indication in the log of an internet connection issue? I sure don't.
