My CCS version 6.0.1 is giving CDT error while building project

Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'CDT Builder' on project 'ADC'.
Could not initialize class com.ti.utility.filesystem.DirectoryService$SingletonHolder

Please reply as soon as possible.

It does not have either startup file or driverlib file while creating project. I had it in older version also it does not show target connection for particular TIVA c board instead it is showing generic cortex M4 devices. I don't know what problem it is ,or it's because i have upgraded to windows 10 .

Thanks,

Aakash

  • Aakash,

I see you already found this other thread, but there is another detail mentioned in section 3.2 of the CCSv6 Troubleshooting.

Since you mentioned the OS was updated, I suspect the MSVC libraries may have been uninstalled or somehow CCS lost an important feature. You can potentially try to reinstall the MSVC libraries used by CCS (IIRC these are the 2005, 2012 and 2013) and, as a last resort, removing (or creating a backup copy) and reinstalling CCS.

Despite CCS does not officially support Windows 10, myself and several other users have been using it without problems on this OS.

    Hope this helps,

    Rafael
