CCSV6 offline installer crashes half way through

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CCSTUDIO

Hi,

I've been using CCS for nearly 2 years and I'm trying to update it to version 6.2.0.00050, but the installer crashes part way through.

It produces a log file, the contents of which read like this:

As it looked like it might be a Java issue, I have checked my Java installation and it is up to date.

Any idea what I need to do to fix this?

Regards

Andy

That error appears on the Missing MSVC redistributable libraries section of the Troubleshooting CCSv6 wiki page. See the Wiki page for some work-arounds.

If you are using Windows 7, suggest first run the command on the Wiki page to check that the Windows 7 patches are up to date.
