CCS/CC3200SDK: ccs 7 constantly crashing

I've started using ccs7 on OSX and it's crashing ~10 times a day.

It seems different to the previous crashing issue on CCS 6.2

Then, it seemed to be caused by the text editor, now it seems to be caused by compiling.

Very frustrating.

Tim,

Have you tried adding the patch attached to this post into your CCSv7 installation? I don't think this fix made it into the 7.0.0 release, it should be in the upcoming 7.1.0 release. Could you please try using the patch with 7.0.0 and let us know if the crashes persist?

thanks, I applied the patch, I'm still getting crashes, think it has reduced somewhat.

I see there's an automatic bug posting feature in ccs7 so they should hopefully be visible to someone in Ti

it's still crashing a lot.

I can safely say that Ti may as well not have bothered with the bug posting feature. There's no response.

any progress on this? ccs7 often crashes when I hit the delete key, as did ccs6
