CCS/CC3200-LAUNCHXL: target connect error

Thank you for your reply.  My issue seems to be when I get to the step in the wlan_station example for setting the target configuration, I am supposed to choose View->Target Configurations and select cc3200.ccxml.  However, Target Configurations does not appear on the View menu.

I tried copying the cc3200.ccxml file from cc3200-sdk\tools\ccs_patch into the project folder, but that didn't help.

Try this below. After re-installation of CCSV7, see if the Target Configuration appear at View Menu.

1. Delete CCSV7 installation directory.
2. Turn off anti-virus.
3. Re-install CCSV7 using offline installers from this link. processors.wiki.ti.com/.../Download_CCS

installing ccsv7 did not help - same issue as ccsv6.1.  I have tried reinstalling the SDK, TI-RTOS and the latest service pack - no help.  I decided to try the out-of-box demo, but that didn't work either (jumpers were installed for AP mode).  The CC3200 did not show up in the list of available Wi-Fi networks.  I think that maybe I screwed up the CC3200 code with all of my playing around.  Is there a way to re-install the original factory code?

Ask the same at CC3200 Forum to get more expert advice. You can delete your current CC3200 SDK installation directory and re-install CC3200 SDK again. To verify that your CC3200 Launchpad is working, program your CC3200 Launchpad with blinky example program using Uniflash or CCS.

Thanks kel. I have manually applied the CC3200.ccxml target to the blinky project, but that produced a new error, which I posted on the CCS Forum, so consider this issue closed.

Sometimes its a USB Cable Problem, so try another cable.
