CCS/MSP430F5529: CCS Walkthrough for an amateur

I would start with the CCS Fundamentals workshop for MSP430. It has hands-on labs for the MSP430F5529. It is for pure beginners who are new to CCS and trying to learn the environment. You can access it from Resource Explorer:

Hey.

I run through many pagew of info and instructions but I still cannot find how to include a folder in a new project.
I also search the e2e forum but every printscreen of how to navigate through the options is I saw it is different from what I actually see.
My main question so far is that I want to add driverlib folder to a new project.

REading the drivelib manual I  read that

CCS must have discoverd the driver libray RTSC product.

I think that there lies my problem but I cannot find any solutions

Any ideas on that?

just one more minor question


So I managed to include the driverLib and some other lib I have to use .
I also have a .c file where I have written several function that I want to use in my program and include it in the directory (through the build options).
When I compile my main program I get an error that the function(s) I use are not declared.
Should I convert the .c file to a .h file or sghould I include the c file somewhere else?

Do you have an accompanying header file for your C file that has the function declarations and are included by the C files that call them?

Yes I have a header file that derfines all the necessary info about the .c file.

I think I have done somthing wrong with the includes or the linker I do not know.

It is the first time I am using Code Composer and although I did a lot of reading before starting to use it I did not find any step by step guide on how to create a project.

I just want to create a simple project but without putting all the code in my main , because I am using 3 diffferent modules and I have written code and defines sepperatlly for each one and I just want to be able to use these .h and .c files in my main
