The CCS 7.1.0.00016 Help -> CCS Support dialogue has a "Clear" button which is supposed to allow a log file to be cleared:
When running CCS 7.1.0.00016 under Windows 10 pressing the "Clear" button when the Debug Server Log is selected opens a dialogue which confirms if you want to clear the contents of the Debug Server Log file, and clears the log when requested.
However, when CCS 7.1.0.00016 is run under Ubunut 16.04 LTS pressing the "Clear" button has no effect.
