CCS/TIDM-1007: Issue with powerSUITE GUI for TIDM-1007

Part Number: TIDM-1007
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: POWERSUITE,

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

Hi, customer reports not being able to see powerSUITE GUI page/ solution adapter page for TIDM-1007 which is available through digital power SDK.

I have already checked the common issues:

1. Customer confirmed using CCSv7.4

2. Customer has GUI composer runtime v1 installed

3. Customer does not have any space in the path to the project

4. Customer is using US language as default in Windows

5. powerSUITE is installed

Is there anything else we can check?

  • Manish,

It looks like you have already checked all the relevant points.

I would double-check the following just to be sure:

    1) GMF Runtime is installed (as in screenshot below). It should be installed by default with CCS 7.4.

    2) Latest GUI Composer Runtime from App Center is installed. Verify that is says it is "Up to date" after installation.

My installation of CCS 7.4 initially did not have the latest GC Runtime installed, and when I opened the main.cfg file for TIDM-1007 example, it did not open the PowerSuite GUI. However, after I installed the Runtime, it worked fine.

  • Aarti,

yes GMF is installed, here is his snapshot of CCS

The customer cannot access app center and had to install gui composer runtime from the installer.. looking at his installation details it looks installed to me..

    Thoughts?

  • Gui composer runtime must be installed through the app center.. for things to work with CCS,

the Gui composer runtime standalone avaialble through the wiki page will not work.

Resolution : Ensure you can access App center through your IT administrator
