TMS320F280049: XDS110 Sch file and gerber file

Part Number: TMS320F280049
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMDSEMU110-U

Hi Champion,

Do you know where I can find XDS110 design file and firmware? My customer want to do it themselves.

Thanks!

BR

Joe

  • Joe,

Moving it to CCS team. Someone there should be able to help you on this.

  • Joe,

Do you mean the schematics of the standalone XDS110 Debug Probe (TMDSEMU110-U)? If so, this information is not public.

Your customer can, however, use one of the designs present in the launchpads such as the MSP-EXP432P4111.

The firmware is available in any version of CCS under the directory mentioned in the procedure below:
    processors.wiki.ti.com/.../XDS110

    Hope this helps,
    Rafael
  • Hi Rafeal,

My customer want to use it debug C2000, sorry I am not find where can download the emulator firmware, can you help to give me more detail guide?

    Thanks

  • Joe,

The reference I sent before shows the directory where the XDS110 utlities and the firmware file is located (named firmware.bin).

A blank XDS110 debug probe requires both the bootloader and then the firmware pre-programmed for it to work.

Please check section 3.7.3.2 of the XDS110 User's Guide (SPRUI94) - it contains an example on how to program a new bootloader and firmware on the XDS110 design. You want to look for the item "How to program a new bootloader and firmware into the XDS110 probe:"

If the design is properly done, this should be enough to have a fully functional XDS110 Debug Probe.

    Regards,
    Rafael
