CCS/TMS320F2806: I can't add the C2000 Hex Utility

I originally had v 7.3 installed, and I couldn't see the C2000 Hex Utility. I then installed v7.4 thinking it was an installation issue. Still nothing. What am I doing wrong?

    If this project was created with an older version of CCS prior to when the hex utility was integrated, then that would explain why it is missing. If you create a new project in CCS 7.4 you should see the C2000 Hex Utility in the left pane under Compiler and Linker. For your older project, even though the Hex Utility is now shown in the GUI, you can still add hex conversion step as a post-build step.
