If you are building for C2000, the default output generated in CCS5.1 will be COFF. We currently have ELF support for other platforms like C6000, ARM, MSP430, but not for C2000. ELF support for C2000 will be coming in the future but I'm not sure of the time frame.

Is ELF support for C2000 now available. If not, when is it planned ?

    No.

If not, when is it planned ?

None of the present plans include ELF.  We may add ELF support eventually, but that has not been determined yet.

    Thanks and regards,
