Where to find DSPA.EXE 7.04

Apparently the lasted version of Avast has decided DSPA.EXE is infected and removed it from my system. I've checked the CCS3.x Wiki  http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CCS_3.x_Updates for links to the build tools but cannot find the assembly tools anywhere.

Where can I find the C2000 assembler tools version 7.04?

    That's a very old toolset.  It is not available for download.

    I added an exception for that program to Avast.

    I realize it's old. That's why I'm having trouble finding it. What do you suggest I use to build my 2407 project in CCS3.3 (that's not "old")?

    I'm looking into what is required to send you the assembler you lost, or possibly the whole compiler toolset.  I don't expect to hear back on that until next week.

    Hi George,

     I did obtain another copy of the file I needed. It would be good if Ti could post the while tool set. There are some of use that still use "lots" of 2407's and need to make changes once in a while.

    i am looking for tms320c10 assembler tools. 

    I've read about your problem with dspa.exe and that at the end you were be able to obtain it.

    I am using CCS3.3 for  one 2407 project. The compiler tool is "C24xx Code Generation Tools V7.04".

    Are there any newer version available ?


    Which version is the recommended latest one ? if it is not V7.04, where to get it ?

    No.  That is the last C24xx compiler tools ever released.
