strip6x segmentation fault

Hello,

 

I am experiencing permanent strip6x segmentation fault during processing out (elf) files.

 

In the attachment you can find core dumps. Used CGT relase is TI_CGT_7_3_8_BL-GENERIC.

    We think you are experiencing the bug described in SDOWP entry SDSCM00050520 .  You can look it up with the SDOWP link below in my signature.  It is fixed in versions 7.3.x where x is 18 or higher, and versions 7.4.x where x is 9 or higher.  Please see this page about upgrading the compiler.

    Hello,

    Thanks for response. Yes, my understanding is that this is the mentioned error ie I cannot reproduce it using 7.3.18 version. In fact I cannot upgrade the compiler and I will need fixation to the current version of strip. Is it possible to get one? Or is it safe to use the 7.3.18 version of strip with 7.3.8 CGT tools?

    Yes, it is safe to use the 7.3.18 version of strip6x with 7.3.8 compiler tools.
