CGT: Assembler issues false error: Offset out of range, must be [-4194304,4194303]

Assembling code for TMS570/RM48 I get this error compiling this error. It seems it came back in. With CGT 5.2.6 the error is (sometimes!!) issued for a "blx" The same file assembled with 5.1.3 does not issue the error! The real strange thing is: The error isn't issued every time! Anyone spotted this before?
