Heap Allocation and Management ??

Hi,

I am wondering if there is an App Note or a description somewhere of how the TI Compiler allocates and manages the heap.

Can you point me to something please? Or perhaps give me a brief description here if it is possible?

Also, I am assuming that the TI Compiler handles this similarly if not the same for all devices. Is this true?

I am using a C2000. Is the C2000 different?
