CCS: Validating MSP430 compiler

Hi,

My company has designed a medical device which includes an MSP430 processor. For FDA we are required to validate the compiler, specifically version 41.2. I'm wondering if TI makes available any kind of compiler validation reports we could refer?

Thanks, but a qualification kit isn't what I'm looking for and anyways I don't see the MSP430 covered by those.

Validation for COTS software in medical devices means basically that it fulfills its intended use. TI's validation of compilers is described at the compiler validation page (http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Compiler_Validation) but it mostly just describes the process. If the validation reports are available from TI, that would be very helpful.
