Compiler: Why is SDSCM00037836 still being listed as a known issue in C2000 CGT releases?

As explained in https://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/compiler/f/343/t/526022, SDSCM00037836 has been fixed since 15.9.0.STS but it is listed as open at https://cqweb.ext.ti.com/cqweb/restapi/SDO-Web/SDOWP/RECORD/SDSCM00037836?format=HTML&noframes=true&recordType=IncidentReport&loginId=readonly&password=readonly and is listed in the open defects section of each release's notes.

Is there a reason this issue is still being reported as open? Can I use this feature in its entirety or are there known edge cases keeping the issue open?
