Tool/software: TI-RTOS
Hi,
where can I find information about .cio section?
Specifically, at the starting of the program should I set this section to zero like .ebss section?
Thanks,
Demis

Thank you Christopher.
I've read that .cio section contains _CIOBUF_, a buffer for stdio function like printf. I presume there's no need to initialize it to zero at the program start but I haven't found a clear statement about this issue.
I've read also the linker chapter in spru513 "TMS320C28x Assembly Language Tools User's Guide" (M revision) but .cio section isn't even named.
Have you got any suggestions?

No. The .cio section does not need to be initialized to all 0.
Thanks and regards,
