How to interface 5", 800x450 - TFT LCD with Micro Controller

Hi Sir/Madam,

I am Karuppusamy from Maxbyte Technologies. For our product we need to interface the 5" 800x450 pixel TFT LCD dispaly with micro controller. LCD interface type is 24Bit RGB.

1. How can i interface TFT LCD with micro controller, Controller Needs any inbuild driver?

2. Can you please suggest me some TI's MCU to interface with Display?

3. What should be the minimum frequency of micro controller?

4. What is the minimum required RAM?

    Hello,

    Have you seen Graphics Library (GRLIB) within MSP430Ware? I'm not sure if it covers TFT displays, but it should answer some of your general questions about driving displays with MSP430. It also has several examples of MSP430 MCUs driving different displays. MSP430Ware can be found with the CCS--> TI Resource Explorer --. MSP430Ware, or within TI Resource Explorer at dev.ti.com .
