CCS/RM46L852: SafeTI Compiler Qualification

Dear Hercules Safety team

We used RM46L852 and SafeTI Compiler Qualification Kit, CCS(V6.1.1)[ARM C/C++ Compiler 5.2.5] for Qualification.

Can I get certificate or supporting evidence document which is IEC61508/EN50128 on CCS(V6.1.1 high version)?

    Hello Gerald,

    I am going to move your post to the compiler forum. Note that the CCS version and compiler version are two different things. ususally, there is no qualification requirements for the IDE as a whole and only on the compiler since the compiler is the only part that can directly impact code safety.

    Also note that there is no certification for qualification of the tool and it isn't required for assessment of your project. The CQK will aid in generation of the reports needed as evidence of compliance to the standards and, therefore, qualify them for use in your project.

    Gerald,

    As Chuck indicated, the CQK includes everything you need in order to apply it and demonstrate your use of the TI compiler complies to the relevant safety standards.

    If you are instead asking about the TUV NORD assessment report, it's included in the QKIT.  For the original QKIT ($15k and user runs qualification tests) it's in the QST folder in qkit\QST\plugins\QST_TIModel_1.0.0.1\Files\QKit\Documentation.  For the new QKIT (free and user does not run qualification tests) it's in the folder qkit\ComplianceReports.
