Team, Who is the right address to FilterPro questions? Thanks Amit Amit Benjamin, Regional Field Applications Manager Texas Instruments, Israel Cell     +972 54 6663791 -----Original Message----- From: Tomer Eliash [mailto:tomere@ceragon.com] Sent: Monday, March 26, 2012 12:38 PM To: Benjamin, Amit Cc: shlomi@telsys.co.il Subject: Question about FilterPro Hi Amit, I've tried to use FilterPro tool - and I don't know why the tool limited me to 10MHz (while I saw in the documents that it works up to 100MHz) Is it matter of licensing or something like that? Or the tool no longer support 100MHz? Amit,

FilterPro 3 limits designs to 10MHz because most filter designs at that bandwidth require op amps with >1GHz  GBW, and those are hard to come by (not impossible, we have a few). At those frequencies, current feedback amps may be a better solution but FilterPro's topologies don't directly translate always to current feedback amps. We decided that to provide a tool which gave designs that couldn't reliably be realized was probably not the best thing to do. See the note titled FilterPro 3: Differences from FilterPro 2.

I do want to extend the range of frequencies that our filter design tool can handle, but it will take some development to handle the other topologies and current feedback amps. I'm not sure when we might be able to add this capability.

    Amit,

Can you refer me to where the customer saw something saying that FilterPro should work up to 100MHz? I'd like to get that corrected if I knew where it was...
