I am having extreme difficulty in locating schematic & pcb models/ simulation models for TPS40210 & TPS61175 devices. They are pmp dc-dc converters.

Can anyone enlighten me please, do they exist? or do I have to invent them?

Regards

    Hi Paul,

You can find the models for these part in the product folder under "Tools and Software". We provide PSPICE and TINA-TI (free SPICE simulator from TI) models. Both these models are typically encrypted so they will not run in Altium directly. In case you need the unencrypted model to import into Altium, please work with your local AFA. He/she can help you get these unencrypted models. However, please note that these models are not guaranteed to work in any other simulator other than PSPICE and TINA-TI.

For your reference, all our SPICE model can be found on www.ti.com/spicerack.

    Best regards,

    Thankyou Nikhil

The spice models I have now found so thankyou again, but I still cannot see the schematic and pcb footprints. Are those available or must I make them up.

    Hi Paul,

I do not think we have the symbols and footprint for these parts right now, but I will forward this to the appropriate team.

    Best regards,

    Hi Janet,

I'm piggy-backing on this thread a little bit, but I am interested in the same thing as Paul was.

I'm working with the TPS84610 and am looking for Altium schematic and footprint files. I used the CAD/CAE symbols from the product page, but I the software was unable to convert properly to Alitum. I was hoping you had the schematic and footprint on file.

    Thanks,

    Brian
