I recently downloaded the Student version of Multisim 12, but the TPS2051B is not in the database. So I wanted to create this component myself. However, without the *.CIR file it will be useless for simulations...
I searched ti.com for the Spice model of this USB Power Switch, but without succes. I'm desperate by now, since similar devices (e.g. MAX1940 or LM3525) are not in the NI database either. So could anyone please HELP??? Thank you very much!
Best regards, Daniel
We do not have a Multisim model for this part. We have PSPICE and TINA-TI models for TPS2051B which you can download from the product folder (http://www.ti.com/product/tps2051b#simulationmodels). TINA-TI is a free simulator that you can download from http://www.ti.com/tool/tina-ti. It has a lot of TI models already built into it for your convenience.

Thanks for your prompt answer! I'll try TINA-TI then.
