Hello ,

I'm looking for a Cadsoft Eagle library for the following two components: MAX232(SOIC Package) and TPS5420(SOIC Package). Where can i get it. Thank You! :-)

    Avadhut,

TI is providing Symbols and Footprints to customers in a new way.  The Symbol and Footprint is in a neutral format (in a .bxl file) which can then be translated to the desired Symbol and Footprint tool using a free translator called Ultra Librarian reader.  We plan to begin publishing Symbol and Footprint .bxl files with free Ultra Librarian reader on www.ti.com at the end of 3rd quarter.

I am sending the bxl file for the TPS5420_D_8.bxl part you requested.  I will send a request to our vendor to generate the MAX232_D_16.bxl and we should receive it back within 2 weeks.

    3618.TPS5420_D_8.bxl

I am sending the bxl file along with the link to download the Ultra Librarian reader.  I am also including links that you may find useful getting started using Ultra Librarian.

You can download the latest Ultra Librarian software from www.accelerated-designs.com/ULADI_Reader.exe

You can download Ultra Librarian getting started links from  http://www.accelerated-designs.com/Startup.aspx and http://www.accelerated-designs.com/Demo.aspx

    Regards,

    Janet

    Aradhut,

I am sending the bxl files for the MAX232 part.  You did not mention which package you are interested in so I am sending both the MAX232_D_16.bxl and MAX232_DW_16.bxl packages.

    2402.MAX232_D_16.bxl

    2845.MAX232_DW_16.bxl

TI recently began providing Symbols and Footprints to customers in a new way.  The Symbol and Footprint are together in a neutral format (in a .bxl file) which can then be translated to the desired Symbol and Footprint tool using a free translator called Ultra Librarian reader.

You can download the bxls and Ultra Librarian free reader by going to the WEBENCH page: http://webench.ti.com/cad/

The WEBENCH page points to Ultra Librarian download link:

    http://webench.ti.com/cad/ULib.zip

Other bxls in the TI catalog can be found through a pattern search (no wildcards required) using the Search box.

Here is the link to the file listing all of the BXLs currently available on the website:

    http://webench.ti.com/cad/pf_cad_data.txt

    Regards,

    Janet
