TINA/Spice/LM3478Q-Q1: LM3478

Part Number: LM3478Q-Q1

Tool/software: TINA-TI or Spice Models

Hi,

I tried to import a LM3478 PSpice model but during the process to create the macro, it aborts and the follow message appears:

Please, can you tell me where is my mistake? Thanks

Matteo

  • Matteo,

Your error message did not come through. Can you post it again? Also, are you using the latest version of TINA-TI? It has several enhancements catering to model imports.

  • Matteo,

Please change the .SUBCKT statement from:

.SUBCKT LM3478_TRANS AGND COMP DR FA_SD FB ISEN PGND VIN

    to:

.SUBCKT LM3478_TRANS AGND COMP DR FA_SD FB ISEN PGND VIN  PARAMS: SS=0

The steady state parameter is added in the PSpice reference design and was missing from the unencrypted PSpice model.

I believe that this will correct the error.

  • Hi Matteo,

LM3478 PSpice model has been updated by including the SS parameter in the .SUBCKT. Now you can use it for your simulations.

    Thanks,
    Krithika
