Im looking for help using Tina-TI (version 9) to simulate a TPS40210 boost circuit. I would like to replicate the results im seeing in web bench, and then add additional components in Tina-TI. But first step is getting results in Tina-Ti. I cant seam to get any type of analysis working, but there are no circuit errors. Attached is my file, do you have any ideas?

Thanks!!

    Hi Mark,

    Thanks for the message.

I was able to load your TSC file into TINA-TI v9. I looked up 'Analysis' Menu and 'Transient' sub-menu to check your settings. I see an end display time of 10s. When i run it, the calculation screen says 0% and nothing seems to happen.  Is that what you're observing? However, the simulation runs but since 10s takes too long to simulate, nothing shows up till quite some time passes by.

I reduced the end time to about 10ms and was able to successfully look at  the output waveforms.

Can you try lowering your end display time in the Transient Analysis Simulation settings and see if it produces results for you? I have attached your TSC file with an end time of 10ms for your convenience. Please let us know if you are able to get the simulation going.

    Regards,

    Amod
