SPI buffer IC Maximum clock frequecy

Can SN74LVC3G07DCUR be used to buffer SPI lines?the load capacitance in my case will be 120pF?So can this IC be used for this purpose?

if this ic can be used to buffer spi lines,then what will be the maximum spi clock frequency that it can buffer?

This will depend on the pullup resistor used. The best way to get max frequency is to model it with an IBIS model using your load conditions. From the IBIS model you can get rise and fall times and from that you can calculate max frequency.

Any modeling software should be able to use IBIS models. I dont know if we have any software available on the web so I will move this post to WEB BENCH.

WEB Bench folks. Is there a software available on the web to rin IBIS? any recomendations?

Chris,

IBIS models are supported in specific simulators. Not all simulators support IBIS models. TI does not currently provide any free simulators that use IBIS models. You can do a search on the web and find free simulators that support IBIS models. TI provides IBIS models for many of our products where the I/O pin function and characteristics are important for customer's designs.

You can also do a search on IBIS for more information on the IBIS specification and how to use IBIS models.
