Hello,

I've been trying to use WebBench as well as PSPICE to simulate the LM3481, but I can't seem to get it to work. My specs are:

Vin: 18-45V

Vout: 24V

Iout: 0.1A

Here's what I get from WebBench:

I tried constructing the same circuit in PSPICE, but it doesn't work either; the voltage just keeps on dropping. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Michael,

I have looked into this and it seems like you are hitting one of the corner conditions for this model (not the device) where VOUT is not settling down to the final value in the simulation. I tried a few things and although not ideal, if you change Iout to 0.2A, the steady state simulation runs fine.

I still can't seem to get the SEPIC topology to work in PSPICE. Can you take a look?

I've been trying simulate the LM3481 model but I can't do this. First all, I have to use the AVG model or the TRANS model?

Can you help me?

I'm using OrCAD PSPICE 10.5.
