Symbolic Analysis with Power Meter

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TINA-TI

Hi,

I´m trying to run a symbolic Analysis 8475.maximum power.TSC for this simple circuit using the power meter as output, but it gives only PM=0.

Any idea what´s going wrong ?

Thanks

Rubens

  • Rubens,

I am not familiar with symbolic analysis. Can you explain what that is with regard to simulation? I have heard of symbolic analysis as a description of how a simulator works (Circuit description--> Linearized model--> Matrix--> Solution), but I am not familiar with using a simulator to perform a different symbolic analysis.

The .TSC file you attached cannot be opened using TINA-TI v9, so I cannot see what you are trying to do.

  • Hi Britt,

    Thanks for the attention.

The symbolic analysis shows the transfer function generated by the circuit. It´s a pretty nice feature of Tina Simulator. I don´t know why, but it does not work for the Power Meter output (Tina V10).

In the second picture attached you can see that it works fine with a Volt Meter.

With a volt meter it works perfect:
