A good model but can not simulated in TINAv9

Dear All:

I'm trying to simulate a half bridge LLC circuit.

I have a secondary side synchronous model "NCP4303A.lib" from ONSemi. It's written in PSpice standard and it can be used properly under my OrCAD 16.6 PSpice.

Unfortunately when I want to import it into TINA 9.0, the simulation program seems doesn't recognize some of the PSpice primitive, such as delay line primitive "dlyline", symbol "$G_DPWR", "$G_DGND", etc.

I feel quite confused why these standard PSpice primitive can not be recognized by TINA 9.0. Does TINA 9.0 conforms to PSpice?

Is any TI expert can help?

1884.NCP4303B.lib

  • Yanbin,

The PSpice model you have will only function in PSpice because it uses several built in models that are unique to PSpice. $G_DPWR and $G_DGND are digital power and ground connections that are hard wired into the PSpice simulator of the digital gate primitaves. No other simulator can support this kind of PSpice model, other than PSpice.

Models that use PSpice proprietary functions or primitives cannot be used in other simulators.
