UCC28180 SPICE MODEL

Hello Charkaoui,

The UCC28880 model can be found as part of the application circuit itself. I would recommend that you take the PSpice reference design that is provided on the web and modify it to your needs. That would be the most convenient way to simulate this device.

first of all thank you for replaying .. So i procede do way you suggested to me but i have problems:

1- the file ".lib" of UCC28180 does not respect the structure of a spice model since it give no information about how the pins are connected ( pin 1, pin 2,... ,pin8) and no netlist of the component is mentionned. Please have a look at this :

2- the second problem is when i try to use this model to create "ucc28180.olb" i can't find any pins so i could create it's symbol

Actually i know the procedure how to open the project or how to to simulate or create a new symbol with it's spice model. I said that the problem is with the provided spice model for the evalution application (360W). In my design i'm trying to use the same principle of the provided application but for a 1000W. So i need the spice model ONLY for UCC28180. The provided one contains models for the whole components of design, and the model of UCC28180 is a little bit coded other way!! So how can i create this Part and simulate it in an other design?

Hi Charkaoui,

The subcircuit called UCC28180_AVG makes calls to some of the other subcircuits in the library file so most of them are required for the simulation to work. You should simply include this complete library file in whatever simulation profile you plan to run. No need to delete any models as having extra subcircuits does not cause any harm.
