LME49724 Pspice simulation error

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LME49724

Hi,

As i simulate the circuit with the LME29724 Pspice module i download from TI website, an error massage was displayed as below. Is it the problem of the Pspice module? How can i fix it?

Unable to find index file lme49724.ind for library file lme49724.lib
Making new index file lme49724.ind for library file lme49724.lib

ERROR -- Node N79726 is floating
ERROR -- Node X_U1.ucm_NET1 is floating

  • Hi, is anyone knows?

  • Hello,

Your error message seems to indicate that your circuit has a node labelled N79726.
When the simulation is run on the Pspice schematic downloaded from TI.com, there doesn't seem to be a node labelled N79726.
I was also unable to reproduce the error you have reported.

Would you please uplaod your Pspice project & schematic to this thread so we may look at it?

    Regards,
    John

Hi John, please see the attachment.

The node label display in the errer massage may not be N79726, it may display another node label if renetlist the circuit.

    Hello,

I haved uppload my Pspice project&schematic a few days ago, could you help to look at it?

  • Thank you for uploading the project. We will take a look at it and let you know what we find.
    Regards,John
  • The files you posted to the thread unzipped into two Pspice projects.
One was in the folder LME49724 Simulation.
It would not open with Pspice version 16.2 so it wasn't possible to simulate the circuit.
Which version of Pspice do you use?

The other project was in folder LME49724 Simulation/LME49724 PSPICE MODULE.
It looks identical to the project at ti.com and would run without any errors.

    Regards,
    John

  • I have been unable to open the Pspice project in the folder LME49724 Simulation with any versions of Pspice available to us (16.2 -16.6).
The files may been corrupted on upload.
If you upload them again, and let us know which version of Pspice you are using, we will try to find a solution to the reported errors.

The other project in the in folder LME49724 Simulation/LME49724 PSPICE MODULE simulated without any problems.

    Regards,
    John

  • Hi John,

Sorry for reply you so late.

I download the project i posted to the thread and open it, it can be open normally on my computer. My Pispice version is 16.3-p008(v16-3-85H). My step as below:

    1. open OrCAD Capture CIS

    2. File-Open-Project...

    3.Slect LME49724 Simulation.opj - Open

    4. Slect PSpice A/D - OK

The folder LME49724 PSPICE MODULE  is the LME49724 Pspice module i download from TI website, is not a simulation project.

There is a PDF file named SCHEMATIC1 _ PAGE1 in the folder LME49724 Simulation too, which is the schematic of the project. you can biuld the same schematic if  you still could not open the project. My Simulation Settings is as below.
