For real time analysis, it is required that thermal RC value for the regulator. please share if have the thermal C value for LM2678-5.0.
R is the thermal resistance identified in datasheet.

You do not mention the package you are going to be using. The thermal values are directly linked to the package. You are requesting the thermal C value. Are you referring to the ThetaJC (junction to Case) thermal resistance? The Datasheet has the appropriate Thermal Resistances for each package, independent of output voltage (such as the 5.0V option you mention).
Also, hat tool are you using to model your thermal validation?

Thanks for your mail. The package is DDPAK for the regulator LM2678S-5.0/NOPB. We are going to do the simulation on PSPICE. We need a foster or cauer type of thermal model for this regulator. In our product, there are different power profiling to the regulator over a time. so we want to simulate the thermal behavior before implementing in the product. I have attached reference documents for thermal modelling.
Please try to get us the thermal modeling for this regulator.
