Encrypted PSpice model for the TPA6211

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPA6211A1, TINA-TI

How can I make use of the PSpice model for the TPA6211A1 found here - [http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/sbom802]?

My spice (LTSpice) won't recognize the model .lib file. When I look inside the .lib file it says it's encrypted.

  • Ian,

The PSpice models that are encrypted can only be used in PSpice version 15.7 or higher. You might want to take a look at the following FAQ for how to obtain the unencrypted PSpice model:

Pay particular attention to item 3 under the section Getting the unencrypted model.

We can also provide you a  TINA-TI model for the device. TINA-TI is a free simulation tool provided on ti.com
