Hi everyone,

I'm trying to simulate circuit based on OPA691 operational amplifier in ADS2015.01. I'm using official PSPICE model downloaded from:

www.ti.com/.../getliterature.tsp

Unfortunately, it seems that it doesn't work due to compatibility issues. I got the following error message:

Error detected by hpeesofsim during netlist flattening. 'OPA691_Model_S1.S_S1' is an instance of an undefined model 'spice_vswitch'.

Does anyone has an idea how to solve this problem?
Any suggestions are most welcome!

I believe that we have seen this issue previously with other OPA models. Let me check to see if we have a solution. ADS does not handle the PSpice conversion for switches very well. This is the root cause of the problem.

I have talked to an engineer here that has done this kind of translation previously. He recommended that you contact ADS support directly for help importing the PSpice model into ADS. ADS does provide a translation capability, however, it does not handle the switch model correctly and the ADS support team should be able to show you how to make the necessary changes to the model so that it will import into ADS.
