TINA/Spice/LMH5401: Noise plot and Signal to noise plots

Thanks for digging into the noise calculation behavior of TINA. In TINA you get four noise plots that you can use the examine the noise of your circuit. These four types of noise are;

1. Input noise
2. Ouput noise
3. Total Noise
4. SNR

Items #1 and #2 plot the spot noise or spectral density over frequency of your circuit's noise. Items #3 and #4 plot the integrated output noise of your circuit over the bandwidth. Plot #4 shows the integrated SNR where the SNR spectral desity is calculated as:

20 log (Vout / Vnoise)

and this is integrated over frequency. You can correlate the Total noise to the SNR noise by using a normalized output voltage of 1 V.

I have a couple of more questions:

1).  How can I import SPICE models from Linear Technology devices?

2). How can I display only one plot per graph as opposed to multiple one? (only interested in green plot, see below)

Click here to get some help on importing a Pspice file into TINA. Beyond thi spoit, you need to place an amplifier symbol in your circuit, right click on the model and 'Enter Macro. In the screen that appears, place your Pspice model code. At this point you can proceed with your simulation.

About the graphics that you posted, it looks to me like you have two meters in your circuit. If you are only interested in the green plot, you can click on it and delete. Another option is to sepearte the curves at which point you will find what each plot represents. To remove an undesirable meter pin you can either delete that curve in the graph or delete the meter pin in your circuit.
