TINA/Spice/BQ25504EVM-674: BQ25504 Output Voltage on V_Bat / Vstor not correct

Good morning,

if i reduce the simulation time, the result should not change. why does the result change?
I replace a solar cell with a DC source, but if i use a input voltage than 3 volt, my output voltage is over 6 volts.

That's my BQ25504 EVM circuit , but i have replace a solar cell with a DC generator. If I set VDC_in to 3 [V], my VBAT arrive to 17V.

What is the problem?

Were you able to determine what the issue was?

Taking a look at your spice model, there is only 470nF of capacitance on VBAT. There should be at least 100uF of capacitance there.

please help me for my thesis of degree!

I used capacitor of 470nF for reduce simulation time like as in your BQ25504EVM with solar panel (VBAT is 470nF).

Now, i change a capacitor in 100uF, but with my calculations for overvoltage protection (4,56 V) is not respected! My calculations based on datasheet of BQ25504.

if i use VDC IN= 3V, the voltage on VBAT at the end of the transient is 5,57 volt, instead, if i use 1V the voltage on VBAT at the end of the transient is 2,41V.

what's the problem? Is the BQ25504 model wrong?
