Hi,

I am trying to get the spectrum of a sinusoidal signal in TINA T&M. I am trying to pick the right generator frequency so that without using a window, I get a perfect tone (no leakage). But somehow I am struggling to get to that result. It may be the rounding (when one enters the frequency values) but just wanted to make sure. Can you give me a combination of Fin (signal frequency in the generator) and other settings (not sure which) in the Signal Analyzer window that will yield that kind of plot? For instance, there is a "resolution" input but what is the sampling frequency?

To give a bit more insight, it looks like the frequency of the last point of the FFT is changing with the generator frequency! So, it is almost impossible to predict what frequency to put in to get a no-leakage plot...

Thank you!
